§ 2.2-3310.3 Vietnam Human Rights Day

The 11th day of May of each year shall be designated and recognized as Vietnam Human Rights Day in support of efforts by the Non-Violent Movement for Human Rights in Vietnam to achieve freedom and human rights for the people of Vietnam.

History

This law was first created in 2009. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapter 489 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year.
