This is Article 6 of the Code of Virginia, titled “Textbooks.” It is part of Chapter 13 “Programs, Courses of Instruction and Textbooks”, which is part of Title 22.1 “Education”.

It’s comprised of the following 9 sections.

§ 22.1-238	(Effective July 1, 2026) Approval of textbooks and other high-quality instructional materials
§ 22.1-239	(Effective July 1, 2026) Basal textbooks and other high-quality instructional materials
§ 22.1-240	Repealed
§ 22.1-241	(Effective July 1, 2026) Contracts with publishers
§ 22.1-242	(Effective July 1, 2026) State Board to adopt regulations
§ 22.1-243	(Effective July 1, 2026) Distribution of textbooks and other high-quality instructional materials; charges for loss or damage; consumable materials
§ 22.1-244	Repealed
§ 22.1-252	Repealed
§ 22.1-253	Repealed
