This is Article 8 of the Code of Virginia, titled “Verification of Motor Vehicle Insurance.” It is part of Chapter 6 “Titling and Registration of Motor Vehicles”, which is part of Subtitle II “Titling, Registration and Licensure”, which is part of Title 46.2 “Motor Vehicles”.

It’s comprised of the following 8 sections.

§ 46.2-706 Proof of insurance required of applicants for registration of motor vehicles; verification of insurance; suspension of driver's license, registration certificates, and license plates for certain violations
§ 46.2-706.1 Insurance and surety companies to furnish certain insurance information

§ 46.2-707.1 Noncompliance fee payment plan
§ 46.2-708 Suspension of driver's license and registration when uninsured motor vehicle is involved in reportable accident; hearing prior to suspension
§ 46.2-709 Requiring other proof of financial responsibility in the future; suspended driver's license, registration certificate and license plates to be returned to Commissioner; Commissioner may take possession thereof
