Child Restraints

This is Article 13 of the Code of Virginia, titled “Child Restraints.” It is part of Chapter 10 “Motor Vehicle and Equipment Safety”, which is part of Subtitle III “Operation”, which is part of Title 46.2 “Motor Vehicles”.

It’s comprised of the following 6 sections.

§ 46.2-1095 Child restraint devices required when transporting certain children; safety belts for passengers less than 18 years old required

§ 46.2-1098 Penalties; violations not negligence per se
