This is Chapter 2 of the Code of Virginia, titled “Bonds Taken by Courts and Officers.” It is part of Title 49 “Oaths, Affirmations and Bonds”.

It’s comprised of the following 11 sections.

§ 49-12	Provisions and conditions; acknowledgment and recordation; duty of clerk when taken in pending cause
§ 49-13	How new or additional bonds required and given; failure to give
