This is Article 3 of the Code of Virginia, titled “Uniform Recognition of Acknowledgments Act.” It is part of Chapter 6 “Recordation of Documents”, which is part of Subtitle II “Real Estate Settlements and Recordation”, which is part of Title 55.1 “Property and Conveyances”.

It’s comprised of the following 8 sections.

§ 55.1-616 "Notarial acts" defined; who may perform notarial acts outside the Commonwealth for use in the Commonwealth
