§ 62.1-241.11 Definitions
As used in this chapter, unless the context requires otherwise: “Combined sewer overflow” or “CSO” means the discharge of untreated sanitary wastes, including industrial wastes and other wastes conveyed through a sanitary sewer system, and stormwater from combined stormwater and sanitary sewers.
History
This law was first created in 1992. The record of its establishment is cataloged in chapter 363 of that year’s edition of “Acts of Assembly,” the annual state publication listing all changes made to the Code of Virginia in that year. Unfortunately, the 1992 “Acts” aren’t available online.
