This is Article 1 of the Code of Virginia, titled “In General.” It is part of Chapter 8 “Process”, which is part of Title 8.01 “Civil Remedies and Procedure”.

It’s comprised of the following 6 sections.

§ 8.01-287	How process to be served
§ 8.01-288	Process received in time good though neither served nor accepted
§ 8.01-289	No service of process on Sunday; exceptions
