Separate Accounts

This is Article 3 of the Code of Virginia, titled “Separate Accounts.” It is part of Title 38.2, titled “Insurance.” It is part of Chapter 14, titled “Investments.” It’s comprised of the following 4 sections.

§ 38.2-1443
Investment of amounts allocated to separate accounts for variable life insurance and variable annuities
§ 38.2-1443.1
Investment of amounts allocated to separate accounts for modified guaranteed life insurance, modified guaranteed annuities, and funding agreements
§ 38.2-1444
Establishment of separate accounts for pension, retirement or profit-sharing plans; investment of funds in such accounts
§ 38.2-1445
Separate accounts deemed Category 1 investments
